"You Make Me Feel"
For some it may be that black dress that fits you like none other. for some, the feeling you get right after you get your hair did. for some, pretty underwear. for others, the right red lipstick with glossy gloss. for some, sparkly "jewry" . . . . .what makes you feel like a natural woman???
for my 10-month-old daughter, its her bows. (yes, i know this for a fact, and no -mom- this is in no way a projection . .)
Sophia has not a real strand of hair to speak of. She needs her bows. When she was born, the mad search for how to get an adorable bow on a head of no hair begun. Any mom would do the same, right?
I hated all the velcro bows, and the headbands with the attached bows as they left indentations on her sweet little head. Then, I found a woman on ebay (who obviously is in touch with her inner natural woman) who custom makes headbands and bows.
The perfect bald-headed baby girl gift. The bows are on clips (any bows with alligator clips will work with the bands) that you attach to the headbands and can change (a girl needs options). The bands are stretchy and soft and don't leave a mark on baby's head. Bliss! Hooray! You will be an instant hero. The bows can be used later when actual hair is available. You may need to practice restraint with the bows . . . . .(tho I cant say I was able to).

I wish I had known of these when Ava was 10 months old and had no hair...she always says that she felt so unnatural her first year of life...I smell therapy in her future
Oh no... THIS is much better.
ummmm i was going for girl not clown
LOL! Those poor babies look like they have Bibb lettuce growing out of their heads...
I know some will think I am biased, but I am not...this is the most darling baby girl who has ever lived. And the bows just make her so unbearably darling, it just takes your breath. Besides my own personal experience, I observed many people in said state here in Charleston last weekend. Generally the first reaction is a loud gasp followed by shameless staring, delighted gushing and "can you PLEASE leave her with us?" Many otherwise sophisticated people made perfect fools of themselves. We could barely eat our lunch! Maybe we should leave the bows off when we take her out in public.
